Indian Annie and Indian John on their house boat. The coming of the streetcar line disturbed their home near the streetcar rollaway on Steilacoom's eastside so the townsfolks help the build this float house. Indian Annie supported the family by digging clams, picking wild blackberries, and making baskets. They died before 1910.
